I decided to go with Tifa and Cloud. When I play video games I tend not to ship people together, so this one was a little difficult. Like I like the idea Phoenix and Edgeworth, but I'm not vehement about it. Romance just isn't something I play video games for.
Then I remembered when I was a kid playing FFVII, I really wanted Tifa and Cloud to get together. I thought Tifa was the baddest motherfucker ever and I knew she liked Cloud. I also hated Aeris, and tried to prevent her from getting closer to Cloud any way I could. I can't remember if I knew Tifa could go on that date with him if you shunned Aeris enough then, but I do know I sabotaged them at every chance I could.
Which begs the question of whether I truly shipped Tifa/Cloud or I just wanted Tifa to be happy. To tell you the truth, I'm not sure. Because even to this day, although I don't hate Cloud, I sure as hell am indifferent to him. Though the pictures of them together are adorable.\

I don't understand the Cloud hate, but I also don't understand the Cloud love. The guy just sort of... existed. There was nothing to love or hate about the guy--he really didn't have a personality.
