WHY is this:

Even these kids are confused as to why they're canon

FUCKING CANON?!  This movie was terrible!  I only watch it for the lulz! I can barely read the damn comic book I'm so filled with nerd rage.

And moreover, WHY THE HELL ARE THEY VILLAINS!?  The kids in that movie weren't smart enough to figure out their whole damn life was a lie OR how to stop what they were out to fight.  I have serious doubts about their ability to take over the goddamn world.

I'm also having issues trying to figure out why only three of them (hawkeye's kid, cap's kid and pym's kid) appeared to have aged.  Thor's kid and black panther's kid look exactly the same.

The Marvel Wiki says it's technically not confirmed 616 canon. At least I think it does... but yeah. WTF. The movie poster artwork looked fairly polished, but omg this is a screenshot of the actual movie? It looks like shit!

Art issues aside, It seems like a terrible idea to bring the kids into this unless they plan on pulling a major retcon or have a damn good explanation. Because hey, congrats Marvel, you've just established your canon for the next XX amount of years in one fell swoop!

I bitched about it in the comments to an entry on my LJ, but I'll say it again. I don't want to read about fucking future brats, I want to read about the Avengers kicking ass and chewing bubble gum. It's just frustrating because the movie was lame and everyone thought it was lame and there's no reason to make these stupid kids canon.
